A More Dignified Way

``My personal reaction is that Saddam Hussein was given a trial that he was unwilling to give the thousands of people he killed,'' Bush said. ``I wish, obviously, that the proceedings had gone on in a more dignified way.''

A more dignified way? Who is this man we call president? My only source of comfort is the new Democratic control of the Legislature. Still we will have to see how the Democrats behave. My hope is they stand up to this war monger of a president and at least slow him down. It would seem the president has learned nothing from last November's election and plans on doing more of the same. It's time to cut the purse strings.
